Definition of condensa≤✔tion: put the object in a certain ε₽☆©temperature, humidity ×β>and pressure environ₩® ¶ment, and gradually reduce the t→<emperature of the object. Whσ★ en the ambient temperature of the§≈×π object drops below the "dew<∞ point temperature" o↕↔✔f the environment, the moistureβ≈ in the air gradually reache♣£×s a saturated state until dew <★φis deposited on the surfa♠≤γce of the object. This pheno₽♣menon is called dew cond∑£∞ensation.
To put it simply: there is water ≥δ×₩vapor or water droplets on the su÷↔rface or inner wall
How to Avoid Laser Conden♣✘λ≈sation
1. Avoid condensation inside and o®★♣ utside the laser without air©× conditioning
When using a laser that does not ha←π πve its own air conditioner and i¶₹✔s exposed to the working environment,>"β once the cooling temp♦₹שerature is lower than∑©σ the dew point temperature of the laser$ environment, moisture wi>↑ll be precipitated on the electric≤×al and optical modules¥. Condensation will st®≠✔★art to form on the outer surfaשce of the laser. Therδ✔& efore, once you see con↔ φ©densation on the laser shell, i∏₩€t means that the internal enviroφ™nment has condensed. Th♥α÷→e work must be stopped immediately, anδ♦d the working environment of the las• er must be improved immediately.
2. Avoid dew condensation inside and outside the laser with'≤& its own air conditioner
The laser with its own air c÷∑★δonditioner may still ca☆↕use condensation in $ε∞>the internal environment. When φ ₹using a laser with its own ai≤≠≤r conditioner and exposed↕∞' to the working environment, the coolin♦β≠g and dehumidification of the ↔♠air conditioner will greatly r♣π≈γeduce the dew point te↑↔δ♠mperature of the env♣©₹ironment inside the laser. Ge∑₹nerally, the cooling temperature☆☆εσ of the industrial air conditio∏←ner is set to be the same as th σ→e cooling water temperature.
When the ambient temperature is l ∏∑×ower than 38°C, the industrial ±♥air conditioner can mai₽≠λntain the safety of the envir✔☆®onment inside the laβ☆≥✘ser, but there may b•≈e condensation on the surface of the¥∏↓↔ laser housing. If the condensation doeπ¶ αs not form flowing water drop↑"↕®lets, it is safe. If there are a la'$rge number of flowing water droplets ÷Ω"and there are obvious wate↕₩r spots around the laser, a s☆§afe and non-condensing workinφσg environment must be £"εestablished for the laser with air con£☆ditioning.
When the ambient tempe'±≤rature is higher than 38°C, the coo®π←↑ling capacity of the industrial air conδαditioner is not enough to maintai↓§✘n the safety of the internal environm↔∑ent of the laser, and condensation™∏ will still occur in t§<∑he internal environment. Afte ♥≈r a long time, the external envi€β<≥ronment will also follow the condensa♠& tion. Therefore, there should be §∏€no obvious heat source around th≈γe laser, and the hot air outlet o♥$f the water cooler should not₩↓ face the laser.
In order to eliminate the risk o<×f condensation in the laser env™ironment, it is recommended to co$™nfigure an independent air-↕✔✘conditioning room for the laser.
3. Avoid dew condensa→÷δ₹tion in the processiγαng head
If the processing is abnβormal when the season changes or tβ ↕>he temperature changes ÷φ×greatly on the day, you can check whethΩ≥→er there is condensation in the±≈÷Ω processing environment.↓₽
